Becky Morales

Becky Mladic-Morales is the founder of KidWorldCitizen.org, a web site where she shares educational activities to teach kids about the world.

Becky is an ESL and Spanish teacher, teacher-trainer, speaker, and educational consultant. She holds an MA in teaching ESL, concentrating on cross-cultural communication, from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and an MA in School Counseling with a focus on immigrants in schools, from Roosevelt University in Chicago. For the past 15 years, she has taught ESL and Spanish in different settings ranging from high school to college-level courses.

Her expertise and passion encompasses global education, world cultures, geo-literacy, service-learning, educational technology aiming to connect students worldwide, as well as setting up cultural exchange programs. She has worked with different foreign exchange programs, including the setup of the International Club at her local elementary school.

In addition to being an author and educator, Becky is blessed to be a mom through birth, adoption, and fostering. She currently resides in Houston with her husband and four children, whose curiosity, compassion, and energy are her perpetual inspiration.
