Afua Abrafi

Afua's love affair of languages began when she moved to Holland and noticed that she could pick languages up really fast, having learned to speak Dutch under a year during her time there. Moving back to London she relearned her native language Twi, (a dialect of the Akan language spoken mostly in the southern and central Ghana), in order to be able to teach it. She is passionate about helping African diaspora learn African languages. She founded and runs SpeakTwi, an Instagram page where she provides free content to Twi learners. She also provides content and Twi courses coming soon on clubhouse.speaktwi.com. She co-moderates the ‘Twi Small Talk Room’ in the ‘Explore African Languages’ club in Club House.
